"New appointment system is an improvement already"

Since Covid, getting an in-person appointment at the Barkantine has been extremely difficult and frustrating, with long waits even for a return phone call. However, I am finding the new appointment system a great improvement.

Last week I rang, opted for a call-back and got a text saying I was 67 in the queue. Much to my astonishment, I got a call-back at lunchtime and an appointment for later in the week. The link in the text gives you your queue position every time you refresh - very helpful.

Today, I put in an urgent e-consult and got a call back and an appointment this afternoon with a nurse who referred me for an X-ray.

I hope this is working as well for everyone.
